MEET THE BAND

MUSICAL DIRECTOR

KEVIN SPENCER

Kevin was appointed as the Musical Director of Thrapston Town Band in March 2014. Kevin studied at the Royal Military School of Music at Knellar Hall and was in the Band of the Corps of Royal Engineers for over 25 years.  Kevin has a Licentiateship in Conducting & Performance from the London College and Royal School of Music.

Having conducted a number of brass bands, Kevin has a wide experience of conducting bands at all levels and is committed to banding and teaching. He is a keen composer and arranger and has done many works for the Brass Band. He is married to Allison and lives in Huntingdon.
