Here at Thrapston Town Band it’s been a busy start to the year as we have spent the last several weeks preparing for the Midlands Area Contest on Saturday 4th March. In addition we’ve been keeping up with our commitment to teaching with our learners class taking place each Thursday including an opportunity for the aspiring players to join in at the start of the main band rehearsal.
We are very pleased to welcome Dave Thomas on soprano cornet, He has many years experience with local bands & is a great asset.
We are now about to enter our final week of area contest rehearsals which will involve a further five rehearsals prior to the big day. After the contest we will be starting to rehearse for our busy calendar of events, check out our website for more details.
