We undertake a number of fundraising activities during the year, and rely heavily on the income generated from concerts and events to continue our work in the community.

We are extremely proud of our ethos of teaching and developing new players and musicians of all ages. As a result, we have a fantastic Academy Band for our up and coming players. Many of our players have gone on to great things in the Brass Band world. Without fundraising, this work couldn’t continue.

We run classes for learners all year round and have around 40 players at any one time including the main band and learners.  We provide uniforms, instruments, music and tuition.  Our subscription fees remain purposely low to make the band accessible to all.
