What a Christmas season it’s been for Thrapston Town band in 2019.
We started in late November in Market Harborough… played at Thrapston Christmas lights switch-on… 3 concerts… 2 care homes… 1 garden centre… and loads of carol playing sessions in-between.
It’s been full on… but we’d have it no other way!
We’re pleased to say that a fantastic amount of money was raised, and thank you so much if you kindly donated.
All the money raised is ploughed straight back into the band, and it allows us to continue all our community work through the year, including providing brass lessons to old and young alike.
2020 is now here, and we start back in earnest on Monday 6th January, preparing for our first major milestone of the year… the Midlands area band contest in March.
The test piece is called Neverland… and we’re loving it already.
Can’t wait to get it mastered and contest-ready.
