We have great pleasure in announcing some exciting new appointments to the band and sharing our latest news with you.

We are delighted that Maggie Betts has joined us on Repiano Cornet. Well known in the banding community Maggie brings with her a wealth of experience having played in many varied cornet positions in local bands. Maggie is also the co-founder of the nationally renowned Boobs & Brass who have raised over £260,000 for Breast Cancer research and other worthy causes.

We are also delighted that Phil Talbot has joined us on 3rd Cornet further strengthening the ranks of our back row. Phil brings with him significant experience of back row cornet playing and is a great addition to the band.

We are wishing our Solo Horn player Amey Vaughan all the very best as she takes a brief break from banding in order to have a baby. Thank you to her for her dedication and hard work over recent weeks as she has continued playing whilst heavily pregnant.

We are very pleased that Lucy Smith will be joining us temporarily as she has agreed to take on the challenge of Acting Solo Horn whilst she is home for the summer on a break from studying. We very much hope she enjoys her time with us.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter Vine for moving onto the front row to take on an Acting Principal Cornet role alongside Nick Compton-Marriott.
