We are reflecting on our recent trip to Cheltenham for the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
We placed 13th out of 20 bands in the 3rd Section and were the highest placed Midlands band on this occasion.
It’s not the result we had hoped for on the day. However, we are proud of our performance and getting to the national finals for the third year in a row.

Our grateful thanks go to our MD Nathan Waterman for his tireless work on the piece and for his constant drive for improvement which has seen us achieve so much in recent years.
We always aim for the highest placing we can but contests are about so much more than the result on the day.
They are about the progress we achieved whilst working on the piece, the skills gained, the time spent together as a team and the experiences we share.
