The day finally came. After many months of stop/starting… distance videos… quintet rehearsals… larger group rehearsals… a carolling programme… back to quintets… larger group rehearsals again… then easing of restrictions and back to full band rehearsals… we finally did our first full concert on Sunday 29th August 2021!
In front of an appreciative crowd in Abington Park, Northampton, we played for 3 hours… and it felt amazing. The whole band, with the help of a few deps (thank you all) got a real buzz from performing live and entertaining people once again.
We’ve got more planned in 2021… our next performance being back in Thrapston for the Charter Fair on 11th September. We’ll let you know more details nearer the time.
